He is representing North Coast in state level rugby league. He has natural sporting skill. He gets his confidence from his Mum and Dad. He would like to become a famous sports star, mainly in rugby league. He also wants to open a sports store one day. We think he is a star.
We recently interviewed Simon Colgrave. He has made it to NC hockey and he is an excellent goalkeeper. He would like to become the Australian hockey goalkeeper. He is coached by Dave Dart and Neville Lollback.

Last week we interviewed Luke Walden. Luke is a Year 3 student who recently gained a distinction in the Australasian Computer Skills competition. He would like to be an inventor when he grows up. His Dad teaches him to build things. He has invented a mini whipper-snipper, a fan and a mini helicopter. He would like to invent a robot.
We also interviewed Jacqueline Hickman about her recent visit to the North Coast Public Speaking competition. Here is what she said— “it was scary and I was nervous, although it was heaps of fun.”

Issues
The ‘student voice’ group spoke with the staff about the following issues:
Students are not ordering their recess, causing late returns to lines.
Also, the games in the playground at lunch are once again being dominated by older students, so if this is you, STOP!!!

We are glad to see that our school has heaps of enthusiasm towards sport and physical activities. We have participated in PSSA knock-out teams and all teams have represented our school with great pride. It has come to our attention that the taps and bubblers are being left on, please turn them off after you use them because we do not have the water to waste. With the windy conditions we have at the moment, rubbish is being blown around the school, which is making our school a messy environment. We have the bins to use - so please use them.
Thank you—Jacqui and Sam
